    Questions about TLC Sheets?

    How do I care for my TLC Sheets?

    TLC Care Instructions:

    You can find all care instructions on the inner care tag of your TLC Bedding Set, however standard care options for our Sheet Sets are as follows:

    • Hand/machine wash using cold to warm water (40°c maximum is suggested)
    • If machine washing, ensure a gentle cycle is selected
    • Use only very mild detergents (approved for wool/ silk)
    • Tumble dry at a low temperature if required
    • Avoid mixing with other colours

    Washing

    Wash your sheets as soon as they rock up to your pad, then every 7- 10 days after that. Do it. Otherwise you’ll have as good a relationship with your partner as Leonardo DiCaprio did with that Grizzly Bear in the Revenant…awful.  

    We recommend a gentle wash with cold water. Keep your TLC sheets separate from other fabric and linens.

     Drying

    Don’t be a piece of sheet, hang your sheets to dry like your mother does. The sun also kills bacteria - there’s your daily fun fact :). You can use a tumble dryer but go easy on the old girl – set it to low, which will avoid the package shrinking ;) – which is every man’s worst nightmare on a cold day. Set the iron on low folks but you probably won’t ever need to.

     Storage

    Store them away from direct sunlight. Think of Will Smith in the movie ‘I am Legend’ and do the opposite.

    Replacing

    They're built to go the distance, however we recommend having a rotation of 2-3 sets of TLC sheet sets. One on the bed and two in the chamber, ready to go! 

    If you really want to best preserve the softness of the TLC Bedding Set for as long as possible, we recommend washing it in cold water. Any further questions? Email chloe@theladcollective.com 

    Do TLC sheets crinkle?

    Our unique bamboo/cotton blend shows far less creases when made. We recommend avoiding the use of a dryer post-wash. Be sure to remove sheets from the washing machine as soon as possible and hang out on the line. Sleeping on the set will also assist greatly with removing visible creases.

    What other benefits do TLC sheets provide me?

    Temperature Regulating (breathable, hypo-allergenic, promotes moisture absorption) - meaning our blend will assist in maintaining a happy medium, keeping you cool in the summer and warm in winter. If TLC is devoted to this sheet set, will not play on your allergies! Perfect to get you through those long sweaty nights after a big weekend (grog horrors) and will improve your chances of securing a round two with the partner of your dreams!


    Soft & Durable - tipping the theory of thread count on its head. Our blend is far less costly and is made of naturally long bamboo fibres which will ensure your sheets will last longer, less likely to tear and will feel softer and more superior than any other high-end sheet set you've been lucky to pinch from your parent's linen cupboard!

    Sustainable - our bamboo/cotton blend does not require excessive water or harmful chemicals to grow or produce it! Meaning by purchasing our sheets, you are reducing your environmental footprint.

    Your Hair Will Love You More - create less friction between your hair as it rubs against the pillow. This will promote healthy and strong hair (say goodbye to bed hair!)

    Keeps Your Dry & Cool - The bamboo also possesses the ability to wick unwanted moisture away, helping you stay dry and cool while enabling any unwanted moisture in your sheets created by sweat and body fluids to evaporate, and ultimately ridding your sheets of unpleasant odours.

    Our bedding range is made from a unique blend of:

    60% Jigao bamboo.
    • 40% cotton yarn.

    Where are TLC sheets made?

    The Lad Collective sheets are designed in Brisbane, Australia and ethically and sustainably sourced and produced in China. 

    Payment

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We also accept payment by PayPal, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

    Where is my refund?

    We aim to process refunds within three days of an item being returned to us. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. With that said, please allow up to ten working days after posting the item back to us before getting in touch about your refund. We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your refund has been processed.

    Ordering and delivery

    Can I place an order without creating an account?

    Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. I

    Where is my order confirmation?

    This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at chloe@theladcollective.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

    How do I cancel my order?

    There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via chloe@theladcollective.com we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

    Can I alter my order?

    Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online. Alternatively, please contact chloe@theladcollective.com and we can make other arrangements!

    How much is shipping?

    FREE! Shipping is free, and always will be, for all orders inside the U.S!

    Can I track my order?

    Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

    Returns

    Can I return or exchange an item?

    You can absolutely return your item to us, within 14 days after receiving it, as long as it’s undamaged, unused and contained in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached. Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges. If you’re unsure about clothing sizes, we recommend ordering the two closest matches and returning the one that doesn’t fit.

    How do I return an item?

    Please contact our customer service team via layla@theladcollective.com with your full name and order number. Providing the return is within the 90-Night Risk Free Trial period and meets our return criteria, we will provide return instructions.

    What do I do if I lose my return note?

    We send return notes by email, so if you can locate the email we sent you, simply print off a new one. If you can’t find this email, please get in touch and ask for it to be resent to you.

    My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

    In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via chloe@theladcollective.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours. If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return, providing it’s in “as new” condition, in its original packaging with all labels attached.

    How long does it take to return an item?

    This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within three days after receiving the item into our warehouse, but it can take several days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund into your account, or onto your card.
